Local Knowledge: Who cares?

This thematic series focuses on the potential and established value of ethnobiological knowledge and its associated plant and animal resources for local communities and society at large. The contributions in this series address the importance of local knowledge for local health and nutrition, conservation and natural resources management, evaluation of cultural heritage, and in education.
